We consider ComSoc & SPS membership development an important objective and it is always accounted for in our activities. Our strategy to recruit new members is to actively participate in IEEE events held by other organizational units, especially students. As a part of our participation is to setup a booth to distribute material promoting the ComSoc & SPS membership benefits. In fact, we have designed our own brochures for that matter.
Another important aspect of membership development is retain our current members. We aim to do that by making sure that our members feel the value the ComSoc & SPS chapter is providing for them. We accomplished that by holding the annual Jordan ComSoc Congress (JCSC) event, which is s technical and networking event with a gala dinner. Please see the JCSC page.
Moreover, our chapter is actively involved promoting the membership via lectures and talks in student and professional events. Below is a list of some the events we gave.
